Snow. . . .

Yes, we got a bit of the white stuff.

Enough to make everywhere look beautiful.

Enough to make me pull out the sledges and go to Grandma & Grandads

Enough snow that Miss tried to stuff Sons mouth and face full of it!!!

Enough snow that you can no longer feel your toes and you wish you had a thick woolly coat like the ladies below.

But definitely not too much snow for a go on the swing.

Hope everyone with snow is enjoying themselves, stay warm!!

Looking Out. . . . .

Today I had a walk around Beacon Fell Country Park.

Often peeping through the trees, looking out, trying to see the view.

A dusting of snow on the hills in the distance.

Even with the sun on my face, the wind was biting.

In and out of my pocket with the camera.

The view is beautiful but the road was sheet ice!!!

My walking companion did an impromptu audition for dancing on ice!!!

But luckily we made it back to the cafe for a lovely cup of hot chocolate.

This has been a photo filled post (sorry). I'm really struggling to blog at the moment. I really hope my few followers stick with me. I really need a new project/make/craft/......

Happy New Year

Welcome to 2016

We had our first trip to the beach this year, today!!!

The children looked for treasure, washed up in the winter tide!

And we marvelled at natures treasure and beauty.

The wind whistled through the dunes
(and the sound of my sons screams as he rolled, on purpose down the steep dunes)

Here's hoping for many happy times for all, in 2016.
